Production Coordinator Job Description
The production coordinator is responsible for working in conjunction with the artistic committee to assure all scheduling, personnel, technical, logistical, and artistic needs are met in order to produce a successful concert season. The production coordinator will report directly to the chair of the artistic committee. The coordinator is required to attend all rehearsals and concerts. During rehearsals and concert performances the coordinator is responsible for stage management, creating a comfortable performance/rehearsal environment and carrying out any of the ensembles technical/logistical needs.

Ideal Experience and Background

• Previous experience in concert production with a background in concert music.
• Proven self-motivator, personnel management, strategic planning and time management skills with a successful track record of organizing concerts and events.
• Ability to communicate effectively with musicians, board members and staff all with diverse interest.
• Ability to adapt quickly to change, react with confidence and maintain a relaxed presence is essential.
• Experience working within a non-profit setting is a plus.
